We stock a variety of animal blood products and serums to meet our customer needs. Below are there most commonly ordered items, however we also can source a variety of special requests.

Types of processing methods used for animal blood products: 

• Alsevers: Whole blood with Alsevers solution added as an anti-coagulant and preservative. 
• Defibrinated: Whole blood with fibrin removed and is additive/preservative free. 
• Citrate: Whole blood with sodium citrate added as an anti-coagulant (mixed with a ratio of 1 part sodium, citrate and 9 parts whole blood). 
• Serum: Whole blood is centrifuged and the serum is separated. 
• Plasma: Whole blood with anti-coagulant added and then centrifuged, with the resulting clear plasma removed.
